Experian going public all on its own

Did you know that Experian, the largest of the three credit bureaus, is owned by a British company? The company is a conglomerate called GUS, which owns other businesses including a retail chain called Argos and a Home Depot-like chain called Homebase. It appears GUS will be spinning off Experian into an independent company to be listed on the FTSE exchange.
