A look inside the new credit scoring system

The New York Times has an article on the new VantageScore credit scoring system that we reported on here. This is the new system that is a collaboration by the three consumer credit reporting agencies, Equifax, TransUnion and Experian, to put a dent in the monopoly that Fair Isaac enjoys with their FICO credit score.
